SBC Working Group Report on Data Center Incentive Policies

The Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) produced the SBC Task-Force Report on Policies for Data Center Incentives to analyze opportunities, risks, and potential impacts of data center deployment in Brazil, and to present recommendations and key elements to support the formulation and regulation of public policies in this area.

This document was prepared by the following members of the SBC Task Force, listed in alphabetical order: André Luís de Medeiros Santos, Altigran Soares da Silva, Fabio Kon (Chair), Jussara Almeida, Philippe O. A. Navaux, and Samuel Xavier de Souza. The report was developed based on technical analyses, monitoring of public discussions, review of regulatory aspects, and dialogue with experts from different sectors, including academia, economics, and industry.
