CIDE 2026–2026 Action Plan
Synopsis
Through the Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Committee (CIDE) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), the first SBC Demographic Survey was conducted and is available in the SBC Digital Library—SOL (SBC OpenLib). The initiative aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the composition of the SBC community, as well as its members’ perceptions, experiences, and expectations regarding the Society’s role in addressing inequalities and fostering a more inclusive, representative, and welcoming environment.
Based on the findings of the SBC Demographic Survey and on additional needs identified throughout the process, this Action Plan was developed to be implemented over a period of 36 months. We hope that this Plan will serve as a guide for concrete actions within our Society, which is constantly evolving.
