The ILÍADA project (Integrating Ledgers, Infrastructure, and Decentralized Applications) aims at research and technological development in blockchain-based computing platforms, comprising: (i) research and technological development to advance the state of the art in network layers and blockchain protocols; (ii) implementation of a multiplatform blockchain testbed for experimentation, demonstration, and validation of protocols and applications; (iii) research and development of blockchain-based applications and (iv) research and development of decentralized digital identity technology and applications. The project also includes the implementation of dissemination and innovation actions, involving academia, government, and the private sector, including the creation of a national blockchain observatory.
